Last May I went to a lake with my family. I thought it would be a fun day of swimming, but I was wrong.
My brothers, cousins and uncle were with me in a swimming area with a lifeguard (救生员). My parents were eating lunch under a tree nearby. I was resting in the water when something hit my leg. I knew it was an alligator (短吻鳄) as soon as it bit (咬) me. I cried for help at once, but my family didn’t know what was wrong.
