三、阅读理解
One day, a young boy and girl were enjoying a sunny afternoon playing together near their homes. The boy showed the girl his collection of beautiful coins. In return, the girl showed the boy a box of candy that she just got for her birthday.
The boy suggested (建议) that the two of them exchange their collection she would give her all of his coins if she passed all of her candy. The girl agreed, as she thought the coins looked quite beautiful in the bright sun.
The boy passed all of his coins, but kept one—the most beautiful one of them all—in his bag. The girl kept her promise and gave the boy all of her candy.
That night, the girl was happy with the exchange and went to sleep quietly. She had nice dreams.
The boy, however, couldn’t sleep well, as he was wondering if the girl had kept some of her candy, just like he did with the coin.

Almost everyone has friends. However, you may not get on well with your friends. You may get into a fight or argue with others. If a friend does something bad to you, what will you do Will you forgive (原谅) him or her Most people choose to forgive others, according to the Daily Mail.
Researchers have found that we are likely to believe that people are good at heart, though they do something bad. When these “bad people” do something nice, people will probably forgive their mistakes.
