I am the proud owner of three pet dogs. Over the years, I have watched their activities carefully that help me when I travel around the world.
One important lesson that my dog, Cody, taught me is how to deal with little problems in life. From the way he has dealt with his recent serious illness,I have learned how I can face difficult situations when travelling. I' ve learned to try to deal with bad situations in a peaceful way, such as when we miss a train, lose things, and so on.
Another dog of mine, Preston, loves to walk around the yard, spending hours smelling every corner and finding out what it means to him. Taking it slowly is another lesson that's been very hard for me to learn. As a traveler,I usually experience less by speeding through everything instead of slowly getting to know a place. Even if it means that you won't see as many things, going slowly when you travel is the best way to really get to know a new place. Rushing around a foreign city isn't fun at all.
Something bad happened to my dog, Mona, before. Though she has become more relaxed over the years, she is still kind of on edge. She is very careful in any new situation. But when she is used to her new environment, she is fine. The same goes for our travel experience. No matter where we go, we need to deal with new situations carefully— while at the same time not letting anything turn into fear.
Many thanks to my pets. To me, pets are not just pets, but a part of the family. After all, with the help of them,I am able to learn a lot and live differently.

His photos show the colors and shapes as the light from the sun hits the glaciers."Science has all of the data we need... The problem is that it's not beautiful, "he said.

"The weather's bad, extremely cold, the winds are very strong, "Fisher said. "And to take photos of glaciers, we' re getting very close to all of this action. So, it requires a lot of skills, time and determinations. And my flying is technically challenging. "Many other pilots thought he was crazy.
Some people would ask, why risk flying over glaciers when satellites(卫星) have already given pictures of them Fisher said that satellite images can't show the real beauty of glaciers the way his photos can. His photos show the colors and shapes as the light from the sun hits the glaciers."Science has all of the data we need... The problem is that it's not beautiful, "he said.

根据时间状语 "in the fourth century B.C."
根据文中语句 "one of the world's" 及 "and most helpful" 可知,"one of the + 形容词最高级 + 可数名词复数" 是固定结构,cheap 的最高级为 cheapest,故答案为 cheapest。
根据文中语句 "Some of the medicines we have today come" 及 "traditional Chinese medicine" 可知,"come from" 是固定搭配,表示 "来自……",故答案为 from。
根据时间状语 "in the third century B.C."
根据文中语句 "in" 及 "past" 可知,"in the past" 是固定短语,表示 "在过去",故答案为 the。
根据文中语句 "For" 及 "Western medicine paid little attention to traditional Chinese medicine" 可知,"for + 时间段" 表示 "持续一段时间",此处需用复数形式 centuries 表示 "多个世纪",句首首字母大写,故答案为 Centuries。
根据文中语句 "Western medicine paid little attention to traditional Chinese medicine" 及 "today, scientists are studying traditional treatments" 可知,前后句存在转折关系,需用 but 连接,句首首字母大写,故答案为 But。

亮点短语如 "worried about""native speakers""pronunciation and listening skills""places of interest" 贴合主题;高分句型 "I am excited to know that you will come to China" 用宾语从句表心情,"It's a fun way to learn new words and phrases" 用 "it's + 名词 + to do sth."
