Our school organized a trip to the Science Museum last Saturday. I went there with all the students and teachers of Grade 9 together.
We got together at 8:00 a.m. at the school gate and left for the museum by bus. We took a lecture by the guide as soon as we got there. After that, we took a visit around the different halls of the museum. A variety of advanced inventions had been displayed, from the appliance to industry, education and life. He is Chinese dancer Ma Jiaolong. Since 2020, he’s made short videos of himself dancing in London. He has performed at the city’s parks and iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge. Now the 35-year-old has nearly 5 million followers on Douyin, where he shares his videos.
Classical Chinese dance brings martial arts movements together with those of traditional Chinese opera. He started to learn it at the age of 12. “I was attracted by the dancers who play ancient heroes through the movements of classical Chinese dance,” said Ma.

By the year 2050 the world’s population may reach nine billion. An interesting question is: what happens when people in poorer countries raise their living standard and demand more meat in their diet Imagine trying to feed nine billion people with enough meat. In short, it’s simply impossible.
Australian journalist and science writer, Julian Cribb, explains the challenges the world faces in feeding nine billion people by the year 2050. Cribb says there is a major problem in the current food system in the developed world, at least. As more and more people move towards city centers, the less and less they know about where their food comes from. Most think food simply grow on supermarket shelves, and they don’t consider the environmental effects of food production.
Food has many hidden cost: huge volumes of water, energy use and land degradation（退化）. Consumers add their own costs by simply throwing away a lot of food. The number for food waste in the West is staggering.
To solve this problem of public ignorance（无知） about food. Cribb suggests that food should be taught as a subject at primary school.
